Front Desk/Social Media Coordinator
The Front Desk/Social Media Coordinator will work to strategically increase social media presence, connections, and visits to the Special Abilities of North Texas website. In addition to manning the front desk and greeting visitors, this position will be responsible for implementing processes to best promote the mission of Special Abilities of North Texas to create social awareness for adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities in North Texas, focusing on Denton County and surrounding area.
The ideal candidate should have excellent writing, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, be able to meet deadlines, be willing to work calmly in a fast-paced environment, and must be a team player. Coordinator will maintain Special Abilities of North Texas’s social media platforms, and should be proficient in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and tools necessary for social media management, such as Microsoft Office. P/T Program Assistant
The part-time Program Assistant works alongside the Program Manager and other staff to provide instruction, training, life skills development, supervision and care to clients with special needs. Program Assistants will develop and teach daily lesson plans incorporating our five programs pillars: Vocational Training, Creative Arts, Community Inclusion, Independent Living Skills, and Health, Nutrition & Fitness. Duties also include assistance with feeding, incontinence care, and lifting (wheelchair assistance). Hours may be flexible, daytime M-F.
