Special Abilities of North Texas is proud to serve our communities as a registered charitable non-profit organization.  In order to provide our programs and continue to grow, we rely primarily on the contributions of local businesses, municipalities, foundations, the United Way, and the generous support of individuals donors.

Volunteer!

There are many ways to get involved in addition to fund support.  We have volunteer opportunities daily at each campus directly assisting with our staff to provide training and support to our clients/students.  We also need volunteer support with our committees, Special events, community outings, and with our fundraising/marketing projects.  Learn more about our volunteer opportunities.

Who We Serve

  • Persons with Special Needs ages 18 to 106
  • Developmental Disabilities (including Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Asperger’s etc.)
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Those with Chronic illness
  • Brain injury, other trauma due to accident, military service etc.
  • Other disabilities/special needs
